Look who's finally riding a bike!

Our neighborhood was built on a hill and has no sidewalks. Certainly not the ideal place for bike rides.  When we lived in Orting we used to ride bikes as a family all the time.  Since Lillie's been born, I don't think we've really had the bikes out more then a handful of times.  It's just not something we really do anymore.

Last month at the request of the kids we took JK and Molly's bikes to my parents house for our little 4th of July celebration.  Lillie was super bummed to not have a bike of her own and made her wishes of learning how to ride a bike known.  So, Clint dusted off Molly's old bike, we headed to the Orting trail and my little girl took off!  While a new bike (one without rusting) may be in store, I'm thinking that if we keep at it Lillie could be riding without training wheels in no time.

In fact, I'm thinking long bike rides might just be the perfect activity to getting our family out and exercising a little more.
